Daydream Festival Punta Cana Postponed

DAYDREAM FESTIVAL PUNTA CANA POSTPONED

Due to logistical reasons the organization behind the Belgian Daydream Festival in accordance with the local organization Proyecto X decided to postpone the festival until a date later to be determined in 2018.

In 2016, the organization behind Daydream Festival announced to make the transition to middle America. After a successful edition in Mexico the second location of the event was the Dominican Republic. Unfortunately, today the organization announced that the event which should have taken place on the Hard Rock Resort end of February be postponed until next year. Due to logistical obstacles it is not possible to achieve the quality that the organization strives for. Daydream Festival, characterized by beautiful scenery and shows, offers an experience of the highest level. “Visitors should be assured of a unique dream-experience, and that guarantee can not be given at this moment”, thus the spokesperson of the Belgian event promotor.

Behind the scenes the preparations for the event are still in full force. Both the local team as the European team are working nonstop to create the perfect dream. “We strive for the highest quality and the extra time we need to invest in the project is huge, but in the end we’ll be able to bring Punta Cana the best festival experience yet: A combination of the best artists, a grade-A experience and beautiful decorated scenery’s. We’re very happy that the Hard Rock Resort is behind our decision and gives us the room to keep developing the event.” The organization emphasizes that canceling the event is no option: “We feel that Punta Cana is ready for an event like Daydream Festival, but to bring such a big event you need all facets to be perfect. Postponing gives us the opportunity to work-out the final details to make this an event memorable success. It is with a heavy heart that we postpone the event, but a this moment this is the right choice.”
